The goal of an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is to provide verifiable information about the environmental impact of a product. According to the ISO 14025, an EPD is a standardized label designed to exhibit scientifically robust and transparent information about the environmental impacts of a product throughout its life cycle.
The HPD Open Standard is a non-binding technical definition for reporting product contents and associated health data. Manufacturers, architects, designers, specifiers, contractors, and scientists collaborated to create the HPD Open Standard. Manufacturers can use HPDs to release information in a variety of ways, from meeting basic criteria to full openness and transparency.
GHG mitigation strategies are developed once a life cycle assessment (LCA) of your product is carried out. This data will then be used to recognize the key hot-spots (such as transportation, operational energy use, construction activities, etc.) in the value chain and a mitigation plan will be developed.
P3 Optima Ltd.
